True North Renovations started with one frustration: too many homeowners were left guessing where their project stood. We built a company around a fixed process instead.
True North Renovations began as a small framing and carpentry crew. Homeowners kept asking us to recommend a plumber, then an electrician, then a painter — and kept getting a different answer to "where are we in this project" from each one. We started bringing those trades in-house so every project had a single source of truth.
As the team grew, we added in-house design and estimating so a project's scope and budget were locked before demolition, not discovered halfway through. That structure — discovery, planning, build, handoff — became what we now call the True North Process.
Today True North handles everything from a single kitchen remodel to a full whole-home renovation, plus the seasonal maintenance and small repairs that keep a finished renovation looking finished. Same crews, same point of contact, same process every time.
If a permit will take three weeks, we tell you three weeks — not "soon."
Every scope change is a signed change order before we act on it, never a verbal understanding.
Licensed, insured, and employed by us — not a rotating list of the lowest-bid subcontractor.
A workmanship warranty and a maintenance plan, not a van that drives off after the final invoice.
Tell us about your project and we'll walk you through the first bearing: Discovery & Design.
